eonardo■警察官の仕事について知ることができて良かったMD: As Leo said, Tom, Tom was uh…was uh, Duffywas, was a huge resource for us, an- and for me. AndLe- Leo got connected to a bunch of people who werearound uh, Whitey Bulger, but uh, but D- Duff wasable to get me around the uh…th- th- a bunch of thepolice. And it was just fascinating because, for me, I, I, youknow, I had a real advantage in that I’m from Boston,so I didn’t have to learn an accent or do anything likethat. I got to kind of skip straight to investigating thiskind of sub-culture of the state police. And you know, what I knew of the state police was limited to, youknow, the times I’ve been pulled over on the Pike forspeeding. Um, and uh... and so to get in there and, andreally see what these guys do, was uh, was, was, wasgreat. And any time you get access like that, it’s, it’s reallythe most interesting part of, of this job, of acting,um, because it’s, it’s your own time, and, and, and it’smonths ahead of time, and, and nobody’s, there’s nopressure on you.176 2016 JUNE
